Christian Ledezma, LPC
Christian Ledezma, LPC is a therapist at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Christian provides virtual and in-person therapy to adults. He values the importance of establishing a safe and supportive environment for patients to embark on their journey.
As a first-generation Mexican American, Christian is deeply committed to working alongside minority and marginalized communities, aiming to provide education and accessibility to therapy for all. In his previous work, Christian has successfully addressed a broad spectrum of issues, including racial identity, trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship concerns, men’s issues, and life transitions. For Hispanic and Latino patients, Christian offers specialized insights and cultural sensitivity. He is fluent in Spanish, ensuring that language is not a barrier to accessing the support needed for growth and healing.
His approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, and he has experience working with individuals from diverse sexual orientations.
In his therapeutic approach, Christian draws from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and trauma-focused interventions. He strongly believes in tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs, emphasizing that no two treatment plans are alike. Collaboratively, Christian and his patients determine the most effective path toward their healing journey.
Christian earned a Master of Education in human development counseling-clinical from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
As part of the Relief clinician team, Christian works closely with our other providers in West Loop to ensure patients can receive other forms of treatment if needed, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO® and IV ketamine) or medication management.
