Rebecca Balch, LPC is a therapist at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop. She provides virtual and in-person therapy for adults facing mental health diagnoses and challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, self-esteem, sexual abuse, and more.

Her treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Rebecca creates a safe and supportive space for patients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Recognizing that true introspection and the enactment of insights require bravery, she strives to provide the secure foundation for patients to embark on this journey.  Eager to understand each client’s unique worldview, Rebecca collaborates with them to tailor therapy to their needs. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and adaptable to ensure the best possible fit for each individual.

Rebecca earned a Master of Arts in counseling from Adler University, where she honed her skills and developed a profound understanding of therapeutic interventions. Her commitment to the field is further underscored by a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Maryland.

Rebecca is committed to helping patients navigate their journeys towards healing, providing the support and tools needed to create positive change and relief. If she believes her patients need more than psychotherapy, she may recommend medication or Relief’s innovative treatments like transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or SPRAVATO® (esketamine).
