TMS Therapy Is For You If…
You or your loved one has…
symptoms of depression or OCD that have not improved after attempts with medication.
Side effects are…
outweighing the benefit of medications. Most TMS patients experience relief and show clinical benefit in as little as 4-6 weeks.
Your quality of life is…
suffering because of your depression, OCD, or other diagnosis.
Relief Mental Health will
design a personal care plan to help you achieve optimal results and increase the chance of remission.
Relief Mental Health uses technology that has been tested in more than 60 clinical studies. The FDA has determined it is safe and effective. TMS therapy is also recommended by the American Psychiatric Association.
Covered by major insurance
TMS is covered by most major insurance including Medicare. We will work with your insurance company to maximize coverage.
No side effects
Unlike many antidepressants, TMS has no systemic side effects. Patients experience relief from depression, OCD, and other diagnoses without having to sacrifice quality of life. There is no risk of the side effects that can come from medications!
TMS does not require anesthesia, hospitalization, and has no systemic side effects.
Relief Mental Health uses BrainsWay technology which has been demonstrated to have exceptional efficacy due to its broad and deep prefrontal stimulation. Unlike medication, the benefits of TMS are durable. This means that patients experience lasting remission of symptoms long after treatment has been completed.
TMS has a high success rate for patients with treatment-resistant depression or obsessive-compulsive disorder. Even in cases where medications have not proven effective, TMS can help our patients overcome their symptoms.
TMS does not require…
anesthesia, hospitalization, and has no systemic side effects. During the 20-minute treatment session, patients sit in a comfortable chair and engage with our staff. This extra engagement during treatment helps improve the efficacy of treatment and yield better results compared to other TMS clinics. Patients are awake and alert throughout treatment and typically don’t experience any pain.
Most major insurance providers cover TMS as it is FDA approved and promotes long-term recovery.
We encourage our patients to remain active in their mental health care by seeing a therapist regularly, taking medications as prescribed, and seeking out healthy choices to maintain wellness for an extended period of time.
Many patients will come back for another round of care. Most insurance policies will cover multiple rounds of treatment as long as the patient is able to remain stable for a defined amount of time. This is typically anywhere from 2-6 months. Some patients achieve full remission and do not need to return to treatment at all.

A large-scale meta-analysis on the effect of TMS on generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder (PD), and specific phobias (SP) showed the following:
- One study showed symptom reduction in 78% of patients, another showed symptom reduction in 80% of patients, and two studies showed symptom reduction in 100% of patients
- In one study on TMS for PD, treatment with TMS showed significant symptom reduction at one month and six months post-treatment
- In a study on fear of heights, patients reported a significant reduction in anxiety symptoms and avoidance ratings

Our staff will work with you and your previous or current providers to develop a comprehensive plan of care before, during, and after your TMS treatments.
Relief Mental Health proudly offers BrainsWay Deep TMS for smoking addiction. This is the first FDA clearance in the addiction space and we are one of the first to offer it.
Using BrainsWay’s patented H4-coil, the treatment generates electromagnetic pulses that stimulate neurons in brain structures associated with addiction – specifically the bilateral insula and prefrontal cortex.
Many patients with depression have moderate anxiety, and 20-25 percent have more severe anxiety.
Anxious depression is linked to greater severity of depression symptoms, higher risk of suicide, reduced response rates to treatment, and higher risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Our treatment plan can treat anxiety in tandem with your depression and on its own.
TMS: A New Model for Mental Health Treatment
According to information published by the Harvard University School of Medicine, more than half of people with depression who have not experienced success with traditional treatments experience a “clinically meaningful response” with TMS treatment. About a third experience full remission of depressive symptoms.
In addition, while most antidepressant and anxiolytic medications take time to work and only reduce symptoms while the medication is in the bloodstream, the therapeutic effect of TMS is durable, and persists for several months after treatment. In fact, many patients report the benefits of a course of TMS treatment last for a year or longer.
