Callie Oetking, LCSW

THERAPIST & CLINICAL DIRECTOR – Oak Brook, IL

Callie Oetking is a licensed clinical social worker and the clinical director at Relief Mental Health in Oak Brook, Illinois. With more than 15 years of experience, Callie provides in-person and virtual therapy for individuals aged 6 and older and oversees Relief’s therapy team across three states

Callie has extensive expertise in working with families—helping parents and children alike navigate life’s ups and downs, regulate emotions, and communicate more effectively. She supports children, teens, and adults facing anxiety that disrupts their ability to stay present and find joy in life. Callie also works with patients experiencing challenges in their interpersonal relationships, focusing on building stronger connections and improving communication.

Her therapeutic approach centers on creating a strong, trusting relationship, establishing a safe space where patients feel supported and understood. She tailors her approach to each individual, using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) through a strengths-based lens. Callie empowers patients to recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop strategies to manage what’s within their control.

Callie earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and holds a Professional Educator License (PEL). She has experience in several settings, including as a school social worker and clinical supervisor at a group practice.

As clinical director, Callie brings her comprehensive knowledge of clinical care and professional development to the Relief team, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered therapy and fostering growth within the field. She is committed to helping patients navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and ultimately achieve their goals.

Callie works closely with our providers at Relief to ensure patients can receive other forms of treatment if needed, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), SPRAVATO® (esketamine), IV ketamine, or medication management.
