Dominique McIntosh, MA, LAC, is a therapist at Relief Mental Health in Red Bank, New Jersey. Her expertise lies in helping adolescents ages 12 and older and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD.

Dedicated to providing a welcoming and collaborative therapeutic environment, Dominique steers clear of using confusing therapeutic terminology and believes in the power of humor as a healing tool when appropriate. With training in various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches, she tailors her methods to suit each individual’s unique personality and needs. 

Dominique understands that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of healing, and her primary focus is on creating a safe, comfortable space where clients can feel truly seen and understood without judgment. Once this foundation is established, she concentrates on supporting emotional well-being, fostering insights, and guiding individuals toward solutions that empower them to reach their goals. Dominique earned a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Montclair State University. Her commitment to personal well-being extends to her love for the gym, reading, meditation, and yoga. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.

As an integral part of the Relief clinician team, Dominique collaborates closely with other providers in Red Bank to ensure that patients have access to all of our service offerings if needed, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO®). Dominique’s true passion is assisting others in navigating their mental health journeys to help them discover their purpose and lead fulfilling lives.
