Rhianon Groom, MD
Rhianon Groom, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Relief Mental Health in Middleton, Wisconsin, known for her holistic approach and extensive experience working with veterans and aviation professionals.
She has treated a wide range of mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorder, and more. At Relief, Dr. Groom provides transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), combining her clinical expertise with a deep commitment to healing the whole person, integrating mindfulness and lifestyle factors into her treatment plans.
Dr. Groom’s background as a U.S. Army psychiatrist and Installation Director of Psychological Health has equipped her with profound insights into trauma, operational stress, and the unique mental health needs of veterans. Her travels have further enriched her approach: she has studied Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, Kriya Yoga in India, and mindfulness practices in Australia and Cambodia, experiences that have solidied her belief in the power of connecting mind, body, and soul.
Dr. Groom earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois in Rockford, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Loyola University in Chicago. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
