Molly Jahrling, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Molly Jahrling, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop and Chicago Lakeview. She provides psychiatric medication management and specializes in treating OCD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health diagnoses. She also provides SPRAVATO® (esketamine) treatment for adult patients struggling with treatment-resistant depression or major depression with suicidal thoughts or actions.
Molly collaborates with patients to provide guidance, coping strategies, and clear, realistic treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. With more than 10 years of psychiatric nursing experience, she specializes in treating a wide range of mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, thinking disorders, insomnia and sleep issues, suicidal ideation, and women’s issues.
Molly earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in psychiatric mental health from Rush University in Chicago, where her doctoral project focused on implementing verbal de-escalation training for intensive outpatient program staff. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing with a minor in hispanic studies from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill. With experience in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency psychiatric care, Molly is committed to providing effective, evidence-based mental health treatment tailored to each patient’s needs.
When patients are in need of other mental health services, Molly connects them to adjunctive treatments at Relief such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), talk therapy, or outside resources.
