Aleksandra Brzys, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

NURSE PRACTITIONER – Chicago West Loop, IL

Aleksandra Brzys, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop. She provides psychiatric medication management for adults, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Aleksandra worked as a psychiatric nurse across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings, caring for people during some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments of their lives. Those experiences continue to shape the way she practices today.

Aleksandra believes medication is a valuable tool, but only one piece of mental health. She looks at the whole picture with each patient, including therapy, sleep, movement, relationships, and daily routines, and builds a treatment plan together that helps them feel more capable of navigating their lives, not just managing symptoms.

She is especially passionate about working with adults with ADHD and neurodivergence. As a first-generation immigrant fluent in Polish, Aleksandra also brings an understanding of how culture, family, and identity can shape the way someone experiences and seeks mental health care.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), and the American Nurses Association (ANA). Aleksandra earned her Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Lewis University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago.
