David Krasnov, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTICIONER – Red Bank, NJ

David Krasnov, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Red Bank, New Jersey. He provides medication management for children (7+), adolescents and adults, and SPRAVATO® (esketamine), an innovative FDA-approved nasal spray for adults 18+ with treatment-resistant depression or depression accompanied by suicidal thoughts or actions.

David is fluent in English and Russian and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds. His clinical experience spans voluntary and involuntary inpatient psychiatric units, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. He has worked with individuals facing a wide range of diagnoses, including mood disorders, anxiety, and neurocognitive conditions such as ADHD.

David believes the stigma surrounding mental health often prevents people from seeking care, even when they know they need support. His goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to take steps toward meaningful change. David prioritizes listening to fully understand each person’s day-to-day challenges. Together, he and the patient set goals and develop a personalized treatment plan to work toward them.

David earned a Master of Science in nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Rutgers University, both in New Jersey. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in cell biology and neuroscience from Rutgers. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

When clinically appropriate, David connects patients with additional services at Relief, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or talk therapy, ensuring comprehensive care on their journey to wellness.
