Jacqueline Arant, APRN, NP

Jacqueline Arant, APRN, NP, is a dedicated nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.  She provides medication management services and specializes in the administration of SPRAVATO®, the only FDA-approved psychedelic medicine for adults with treatment-resistant depression or major depressive disorder with suicidal thoughts or actions. This groundbreaking treatment option reflects Jacqueline’s commitment to staying at the forefront of mental health care and providing comprehensive solutions to her patients.

Jacqueline is known for her ability to put patients at ease, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where they can address their concerns comfortably. Her goal is to ensure that every patient leaves with a positive treatment experience and eagerly anticipates their next visit.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has gained extensive experience working within hospital systems and clinics, assisting individuals in managing complex neurological and behavioral conditions. Her primary focus is on adults who are grappling with a range of mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and more.

Jacqueline’s educational journey began at The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then pursued an accelerated nursing program at the University of Cincinnati, culminating in a Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on family practice. Before joining the Relief Mental Health team, she gained valuable experience in pediatric neurology, including expertise with vagal nerve stimulators, primarily in the context of seizures but also for the treatment of resistant depression.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys indulging in her hobbies, which include reading, leisurely strolls around the city, and exploring new destinations through travel.

In addition to her expertise in medication management and SPRAVATO®, she collaborates closely with other Relief Mental Health professionals who offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment and psychotherapy services, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care for their mental health needs.
