Brook Evans, PA-C, MSPAS
Brook Evans, PA-C, MSPAS is a board-certified physician assistant at Relief Mental Health in Warren, NJ. She helps patients navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues as well as a multitude of mental health concerns.
Being a provider working in psychiatry, Brook is fully transparent with her patients about her own mental health struggles. She believes sharing her own experiences allows patients to better relate and recognize she is able to understand what they are experiencing. She wants future patients to know she will always listen, never judge, and will work together as a team to meet goals. She strives to give patients the tools that will allow them to cope with their anxiety and reduce the number of bad mental health days.
Brook wanted to be a physician assistant since age 13 after spending many hours at doctor appointments dealing with an autoimmune disease and seeing her brother successfully battle cancer. In fact, she was so determined that she graduated high school and college two years early.
Brook earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s in psychology from Clemson University, also in South Carolina. She is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Psychiatry. Prior to joining Relief in 2022, Brook gained valuable experience by working in emergency medicine.
Brook’s role within Relief Mental Health means she helps patients gain access to additional resources they might need to manage life stressors—SPRAVATO® (esketamine) for treatment-resistant depression, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for depression, OCD and other diagnoses, or psychotherapy.
