Diana Cary, APRN, FNP-BC

Diana Cary is a nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Rockford, Illinois. With more than 10 years of experience providing direct care, Diana’s background ranges from surgical services and intensive care to gynecology and obstetrics.

Credentialed as a family nurse practitioner, Diana has specialized in women’s health over the years. As such, she is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

At Relief, Diana is committed to assisting both women and men live their most fulfilling, optimal lives possible. In a secure and professional environment, she supports patients in setting and attaining goals related to their mental health and overall well-being.

For patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression or depression with suicidal thoughts or behaviors, Diana offers a compassionate, understanding approach to psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO®).

In truly knowing her patients and the progress they’re making, she helps determine if other Relief treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychiatric medication management, or psychotherapy, could be effective as part of an overall treatment plan.

Diana earned a Master of Science in nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill., and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Rockford College. Her hobbies include weightlifting, hiking, and cooking.
