Claudyn Eguia, FNP-C

Claudyn Eguia, FNP-C, is an advanced practice registered nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health, serving patients in our Northbrook, Ill., clinic. With a profound commitment to mental health care, Claudyn specializes in treating adult patients, ages 18 and older, living with depression.

Specifically, Claudyn focuses on the administration of SPRAVATO®, the FDA-approved intranasal form of ketamine and a psychedelic therapy for adults facing treatment-resistant depression or major depressive disorder with suicidal thoughts or action. Equipped with a Master of Science in nursing from North Park University in Chicago and certified as a family nurse practitioner, Claudyn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Relief. 

Beyond psychedelic treatment, Claudyn collaborates closely with other providers at Relief Mental Health, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care for their mental health diagnoses. She helps determine if other treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or IV ketamine infusions, could be effective as part of an overall treatment plan. Through this collaborative approach, Claudyn strives to optimize patient outcomes and foster healing journeys for those navigating the complexities of mental health diagnoses.
