Adil Yurekli, LCSW

Adil Yurekli, LCSW is a therapist at Relief Mental Health in Warren, NJ, where he works with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, the impact of trauma, as well as a variety of other mental health issues.

Adil believes that while many patients seek treatment for depression or anxiety symptoms, it is often the impact of their past trauma they need to address. He strives to empower his clients while simultaneously challenging them to take action to move forward with their goals.

Adil helps individuals accept their past and acknowledge their strengths. He guides clients in breaking the negative patterns in their lives and working to create new, healing patterns. He provides motivation, support, and compassion, as he works to understand a deeper meaning beyond life’s everyday struggles. He utilizes all experiences to help someone move forward with personal goals, values, and visions. Adil knows that seeking help can be hard but offers a safe space to build a therapeutic alliance with his clients.

Adil earned his Master’s degree in social work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. A member of the National Association of Social Workers New Jersey Chapter, he joined Relief in 2022. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, drinking coffee, sports, traveling, and photography.

Adil’s work with Relief Mental Health means that he collaborates with a dedicated team of experts, who in addition to therapeutic services, offers medication management, psychedelic antidepressant therapy (SPRAVATO®/esketamine) for patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression, and/or TMS evaluations for those struggling with depression or OCD.
